Dear National Visa Applicants,

From 21/07/2026, applicants who require document legalization in order to submit their National Visa application at the Spain Visa Application Centre in Tehran are kindly requested to take note of the following:

• A prior appointment for document legalization is no longer required.
• Applicants must visit the Embassy only on the working day immediately following their application submission at the Visa Application Centre , between 12:00 and 13:00, to complete the document legalization process.
• Applicants may come directly to the Embassy during the above-mentioned time without booking a legalization appointment.
• Applicants will not be admitted on any other day or outside the designated time.
• If the required documents are not ready by that date, applicants must request a legalization appointment via email.
• Applicants who have already obtained a legalization appointment by email are kindly requested to contact the Embassy so that their existing appointment can be cancelled.

Please be advised that the Visa Application Centre will not accept National Visa applications from 26 to 30 July 2026, except for the following categories:

• National Student Visa applications;
• Student Family Reunification applications, provided that they are submitted on the same day as the principal applicant's application;
• All other Family Reunification applications, except for Student Family Reunification cases where the principal applicant has already submitted their application.

If you have booked a National Visa appointment during the above-mentioned period, our team will contact you to arrange the rescheduling of your appointment.

It is advice visa applicants to exercise caution and vigilance regarding the following points:
Our staff never ask visa applicants to make cash payments or any other form of payment to obtain an appointment, expedite the visa application process, secure an earlier appointment, or influence decision-making.

We do not recommend any direct payments into personal bank accounts.

Appointments must be booked exclusively through the website. Please refer to the website for authorized service fees

Always request a receipt for optional value-added services available at our center.

The decision regarding visa applications is made solely by the competent authorities, and has no role or influence in this process. If you receive such a request (in writing or verbally), please report it immediately by completing the complaint form or by sending an email to antifraud@spainvisa-iran.com.

Be cautious of intermediaries selling visa individually outside our center. All appointments must be booked through the centers. As a responsible service provider, we make every effort to inform applicants to be wary of fraudulent intermediaries charging fees to clients for appointment bookings.

• After submitting your visa application, please wait for the results and postpone your trips until receiving the visa results so your passport will remain in the Spanish embassy.
  During visa process, you may temporarily claim your passport if the following conditions are met: 1-travel due to serious illness of a family member,2- trips to attend urgent medical treatments, 3-very urgent trips for business reasons which cannot be postponed. These people must deliver their request letter to the Spain visa center at least five working days before the travel date along with all relevant documents.
• If you are not able to use your appointment, please cancel it on the website before 48 working hours. If you do not cancel on time and if you do not show up without canceling the appointment, the system will limit your access to book later appointments. Click here to cancel your appointment
• The Embassy of Spain in Tehran is not responsible if any passenger is not allowed to board the aircraft by the airline or by the immigration authority at the airports in Spain or Iran.
• Demand of bank deposit as a guarantee is not a requirement to get a visa from Embassy of Spain.
• Appointment, checklist and application form are available free of cost at Spain Visa Application Centre.
• Visa Application Centre does not provide any other services apart from reception and submission of Spanish visa applications as authorized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Spain.
